He gives the barren woman a home, so that she becomes a happy mother (Psalms 113:7-9). This is an inspiring verse and I believe with God's help we can see poverty as history in communities.

I am Joseph Lukwago first born to the family of Suzan and Eugenio Ssentongo known for the community empowerment activities initiated with an example of the leading community Primary School which is providing quality education to all school going children.

Due to my sympathy and concern since childhood of seeing people having better lives, my family started a community primary school on my birthday and at the age of 15 years. I was so privileged to do most of the paper work that was required in the starting of the school and guided by the Holy Spirit I did the designing of the best school badge and the school motto.

After seven years, we got our first primary leavers who emerged as the best in the community and the school was declared as the best school in the community then. Due to my responsibility in the school I was given the responsibility of mentoring all the children who complete Primary and join secondary education. With this task, I have recognized that age doesn't matter but it's what someone does that brings maturity.

With the same task also, JOY FOR HUMANITY emerged so that through the organization I can do all things possible to see that we have the community children growing up as God fearing and the future generation of leaders who have a value system that stops war, prevents disease, fights poverty and other community problems which have taken a toll in the community.

With Joy for Humanity a lot has been achieved and a lot more is required to see that everybody in the community is happy, well off, with good jobs, education and having a long life.

I believe that where the adult society in my area have failed to change the community, it's now the young people who have to demonstrate their skills and commitment to bring a community to a flourishing state.

This task is not an easy one but Together with Gods help we can. If we are to make a difference to the world, I believe we have to join hands and work together for a common good so that we share knowledge by having free flow of information, pull together all that we can, be stronger so that we get the job done.

I thank God for Joy for Humanity for the job done so far in the community led by the youthful team.

With Joy for Humanity, I have managed to get friends from different countries and some of them have assisted in giving financial aid to children to enable them attend their secondary education, I have managed to acquire resources to see that we acquire many necessities like children dormitories, toilets and other necessities etc.

We can be partners playing different roles and if we hold a brothers'/sisters' hand we can help to reach the finishing line together.
